a repressive intellect of humiliation, reproaching me.
They envisaged the obliteration of Ravana,
recalling the extraterrestrial prayers to Lord Shiva
who had prophesied that only a woman would
cause Ravana's decadence.. Mandoodari
and Sulochana were shattered, still in nightmares.
I could visualize the chaos in my veiled anguishes.
My blazing limpidness, my radiance of elegance brought misfortunes.
Scrutinizing the prospect of queens distressed with grief
Ravana ordered that he himself would be the army chief.
Accompanied by mighty demons, he denigrated
out to the horizons. He fought brutally
with the monkeys. Then he encountered Rama
and lakshmana, ultimately, with his magic missile.
Ravana voiced in between "Oh Rama, Sita is
my destiny now, Sita my passion, Sita is my
lucky obsession now and Sita only can be my boon.
I am a veteran in all martial sciences and arts
this bitter engagement prompts me to get my shafts.
No one can counteract me now for Sita is in my hands.
Go back oh bamboozle, oh wandering drifter.
See my power, my presence, look at Ravana the regal fighter

But pious hearted Lord presented him reprieve.
Run away Ravana if you have given up."
ravana's charioteer carried him away from the battlefield.
Humiliated Ravana was more of a victim now of Rama's chivalry and endowment,
Why was this differential treatment of Indrajit. and Ravana,
This irritated Ravana for he thought Sita would ridicule.
He rebuked the charioteer and asked to turn back.
Rama's charioteer Matali at once got onto his hark
Remembering Sage Agastya's advice, Rama
chanted 'Aditya Hridayas ,the verses in
praise of the Sun God, to achieve triumph.
Sun, the glowing heart of the universe and
the bestower of light. The revitalisation of life,
the adversary of malevolence, the prosperity of strength.
The battlefield resonated all over again
like a whirlwind all-encompassing the civilizations,
relinquishing mountains, trees, homes and dreams.
Targeting arrows at each other, in the severe battle
Ravana's flag-staff was thrown down by Rama's mantle.
Rama cut of one of his heads, Ravana procured another.

लंका की महिलाएँ करने लगी मेरा अपमान,
कहने लगी,मेरे वजह से रावण का हुआ पतन
महिला बनेगी नाश का कारण, यह था शिव-वरदान।
मंदोदरी और सुलोचना का बिखर गया सपना
छुपी पीड़ा में कर रही मैं उथल-पुथल की कल्पना
मेरी पारदर्शिता, लालित्य से हुआ दुर्भाग्य का आगमन ।
रानियों की व्यथा देख, रावण हुआ द्रवित
दिया आदेश, अब वह स्वयं बनेगा सेनापति
शक्तिशाली राक्षसों के साथ किया उसने प्रस्थान।
वानरों के साथ युद्ध हुआ घमासान
मायावी रावण भिड़ा सीधे राम-लक्ष्मण
प्रयोग में लाए अनेक मायावी सामान ।
,"हे राम, सीता मेरी नियति” कहने लगा रावण
अब है सीता मेरा जुनून,
और मेरा भाग्यशाली वरदान ।
मैं सभी युद्ध विज्ञान-कला में निपुण
यह कड़वा सच शस्त्र उठाने की दे रहा प्रेरणा
नहीं कर सकता कोई प्रतिकार,सीता करेगी मेरे काज।
लौट जाओ, ओ घुमक्कड़ धोखेबाज
देख मेरी ताकत, मैं हूँ शूरवीर-राज
कर सकता हूँ अग्नि की बरसात "
मेरे ईश्वर तुल्य पति थे शांत
प्रभावित न कर सकी उसकी बात
कहा,"अरे रावण, शेखचिल्ली बन मत।
केवल कहने से नहीं होता, युद्ध कर,
अगर मर्द है तो सिद्ध कर
तुम हो शक्तिशाली तो परास्त कर ।
निस्संदेह, आ गया है तुम्हारा अंतिम चरण
दुनिया की सबसे सुंदर नारी का किया तूने हरण
अनिच्छा से सती सीता को किया हैरान ”
रावण का ब्रह्म-भाला भी हुआ असफल
रघुवीर को कर न सका विफल
भालों की वर्षा में रावण गया फिसल।
कमजोर, दिग्भ्रमित हुआ दशानन
अब राम का रथ बना हनुमान
लगातार लड़ न सका निर्बल रावण ।
मार सकते थे राम उसे उसी क्षण
मगर राम ने दिया एक और अवसर
भाग जाओ रावण, अगर मानते हो हार। ”
रावण के सारथी ने उसे युद्ध-मैदान से किया दूर
अपमानित रावण बना अब राम का शिकार ,
रावण और इंद्रजीत के व्यवहार में यह कैसा अंतर ?
झुंझलाए रावण ने सोचा- सीता करेगी उपहास
फटकारते हुए सारथी से कहा- ‘युद्धक्षेत्र में चल वापस’
राम के सारथी मताली ने सुना यह कथन।
ऋषि अगस्त्य की सलाह का कर स्मरण,
राम ने 'आदित्य हृदय' का किया जाप
सूर्य देव की स्तुति, विजय मिले, दूर हो संताप।
सूर्य- ब्रह्मांड का चमकता हृदय,प्रकाश-स्तम्भ
पुरुष वर्चस्व का विरोधी, जीवन का पुनरोद्धारक
शांति, शक्ति और समृद्धि का प्रतीक ।
युद्ध का मैदान फिर से करने लगा गूंजन
मानो बवंडर घिर गया हो सभ्यता के चमन ,
गिरा रहा हो पहाड़, पेड़, घर और सपन ।
भीषण युद्ध में चलने लगे एक-दूसरे पर तीर-भाला
रावण की उडी पताका, राम के मंत्रबल
राम ने काटा एक सिर, जुड़ा दूसरा जादू के बल।
हे राम! युद्ध में जीत की क्या कुंजी-पटल ?
आमने-सामने हुई असुर और वानर सेना युद्ध-स्थल
ब्रह्मांड से देवतागण करने लगे दर्शन हरपल ।
राजा राम का जबरदस्त युद्ध-अनुशासन
सात रात,सात दिन लड़ाई चली घमासान
दिव्य-दृष्टि से त्रिजला ने सुनाई गाथा महान।
अचानक त्रिजटा की दिव्य-दृष्टि हो गई निष्काम,
जब राम-रावण युद्ध पहुंचा था चरम
कहीं रावण के धोखे में फंस न गया हो राम।
धीरे-धीरे लड़ाई पार कर गई सारी सरहद
हवा में आँधी-तूफान, गगन में मँडराते गिद्ध
ज्ञान और अज्ञान के बीच हो रहा भीषण युद्ध।
अधर्म और धर्म मिले अविस्मरणीय काल-क्रम
टकराती इच्छाशक्ति, अंगों और संवेगों का संगम
युद्ध के मैदान में रावण के सिर से बहा रक्त चरम।
अंत में, राम गए मताली की शरण,
ब्रह्मास्त्र, सर्पास्त्र का किया प्रक्षेपण
विषैले, घातक, अपरिमित सर्पों का निक्षेपण।
दूसरी दुनिया से निकला जैसे विद्युत आर्क,
इधर रोशनी, उधर तापमान भयानक
लग रहा जैसे धुएँ से सुलगता रौरव नरक ।
तेज हवा के झोंके की तरह तीर घुसा रावण के हृदय
रथ से गिरते ही धरती पर पंचतत्व में प्राण हुए विलय
सभी नश्वरों की तरह रावण भी गया अपने आलय।
सुख-दुख के साथ मैंने त्रिजटा का किया आलिंगन
निर्दयी प्रतिशोधी रावण का हुआ आखिर मरण
बनाने लगी हवाई किले, अब आएंगे मेरे अच्छे दिन।
